Stan Davis is an independent strategy and management consultant to major corporations and fast-growing enterprises around the world. His consulting clients have included senior executives at Apple, AT&T, Bank of America, KPMG, Marriott, Mercedes-Benz, Met Life, and Sun Microsystems. Author of twelve books, he is well known as a visionary business thinker and public speaker.
With a doctorate in the social sciences and an honorary doctorate in humanities, he spent two decades on the faculties of the Harvard Business School, Columbia University, and Boston University before becoming an independent consultant.
Mr. Davis's books include Future Wealth and BLUR: The Speed of Change in the Connected Economy (both co-authored with Christopher Meyer), 2020 Vision (named the best management book of 1991 by FORTUNE magazine), Lessons from the Future, The Monster Under the Bed, and the forthcoming It's Alive: The Coming Convergence of Information, Biology, and Business. His articles have appeared in Forbes, TIME, Harvard Business Review, and many international business magazines.
He is a senior research fellow at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young's Center for Business Innovation and an advisor to the board of the Massachusetts Medical Society, which publishes the New England Journal of Medicine. He also sits on the board of Opera America.
